About Us

The University of Rhode Island chapter of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) is committed to connecting students with faculty, industry professionals, and like-minded peers. These connections help our members grow mentally as learners, charismatically as leaders, and together as a team. Our members take an active role in the chapter, participating, for example, in networking opportunities with chemical engineers in industry, the Chem-E-Car competition, and professional workshops for research. Through our programming and initiatives, our chapter aims to build a holistic and dynamic experience for chemical engineering undergraduates, pursuant to the national AICHE objective to "inspire a safe, connected, and inclusive community doing a World of Good."
